Valparaiso is a city built on the side of several hillsides called «Cerros». Generally speaking, it’s a city where there’s no snow, but that doesn’t stop anyone from racing down the slopes… We’re here on «Cerro Bellavista», but we could just as easily have been on «Cerro Alegre», such was the joy of the children on this day. This boy is part of a group of five who were racing down the road on their racing cars, before returning to the top of the hill with their machines, all in a loop and amicably accompanied by a dog playing the same carousel. I don’t know if this is how Formula 1 racing vocations are born, but I am only now realizing, as I write these lines, that the street is actually named after «Ricardo de Ferrari»!
